Manage Adobe Workfront Planning email notifications

IMPORTANT
The information in this article refers to Adobe Workfront Planning, an additional capability from Adobe Workfront.
You must have the following to access Workfront Planning:
  • A new Workfront package and license. Workfront Planning is not available for legacy Workfront packages or licenses.
  • A Workfront Planning package.
  • Your organization’s instance of Workfront must be onboarded to the Adobe Unified Experience.

You can receive email notifications from Workfront Planning when the following scenarios exist:

  • Someone tags you in a record comment

    For information about tagging others in a record comment, see Manage record comments.

  • Someone asks for your permission to access a view or a workspace

  • Someone confirms your access has been granted for a view or a workspace

Object permissions

View or higher permissions to a workspace

System Administrators have permissions to all workspaces, including the ones they did not create

Layout template All users, including Workfront administrators, must be assigned a layout template that includes the Planning area in the Main Menu.

Manage email notifications when someone tags you in a comment

  1. (Conditional) After someone tags you in a comment on a record, go to the email notification that informs you of the tag and of the comment. The sender of the email is Adobe Experience Cloud.

  2. Click the message in the Workfront box.

    The record details page opens in Workfront. You can make updates to the record, or reply to the comment.

  3. (Conditional) If available, click View all notifications.
    The Notifications page opens in Adobe Experience Cloud. All notifications from all Adobe Experience Cloud applications display.

Manage email notifications when requesting and granting permissions

You receive email notifications when someone requests or grants you permissions to a view or a workspace.
