Fourth Quarter 2026 Project enhancements

This page describes Project enhancements made with the Fourth Quarter 2026 release to the Preview environment. These enhancements will be made available in the Production environment as noted.

Financial fields preserved when creating a project from a template

When a template contains financial data, those field values are preserved when a user creates a project from the template. The user must have View access to Financial Data to view the financial fields on the project details.

Previously, if the user didn’t have Edit access to the values they were reset to zero.
