Collapse custom form section by default

By default, all sections on a custom form are expanded when the form itself is expanded. A new option on the custom form designer allows you to mark a section to be collapsed by default when a user opens the form. This option is applied at the section level, not on fields.

Rich text field type is now available on custom forms

The new Rich text field type in custom forms is a robust text editor, with formatting options such as superscript and subscript, headings, and tables, in addition to the traditional options of bold, italics, underline, bullets, numbering, hyperlinks, and block quotes. The character limit remains 15,000.

New IP addresses for Workfront email notifications

We are updating the IP addresses used to send email notifications from Workfront. If your organization maintains an email or firewall allowlist, you must add the new IP addresses below to ensure continued delivery of Workfront notifications.

These updates apply to all outbound emails generated by the Workfront application, including approvals, reminders, proof notifications, and other system messages.

Custom field labels shown when building reports

The custom field label is now displayed before the field name and object in the report building tools, helping you locate fields more easily. Field labels are also shown when defining filters, views, and groupings in lists.

Shareable Report Folders

You can now organize and share reports using shareable report folders. This new feature helps teams that manage large volumes of reports maintain scalable and consistent access control.

Improved Date Labels for Chart Groupings in Canvas Dashboards

Charts that group data by date now display clearer, more readable date labels. With this update, date labels dynamically adjust based on the selected Group by option—such as day, week, month, or year—making charts easier to read and interpret at a glance.

Note: Canvas Dashboards is currently in beta.

Updated sharing experience for enhanced views

In the New requests area, when you share an enhanced view with a user and give them View permissions, the user can modify the view elements and those changes are saved to the user's personal preferences. They now have the option to save a copy of the view that includes their changes or to reset the shared view to its original settings. They can further share the copied view with others.
