The Streams impacted by closed captioning metric counts sessions in which the viewer enabled captions at least once. The metric is a session-level boolean — multiple caption toggles within the same session count as one impacted stream. For total caption-enable volume, use Closed captioning counts.

How this metric is calculated

The media backend sets the isSet flag in mediaReporting.states[] for the closedCaptioning entry to true the first time a media.statesUpdate event with closedCaptioning in statesStart is received. The metric is reported on the close call.
