These are the release notes for the preview version of the Universal Editor. These features are currently available in your Universal Editor’s preview environment. These features are scheduled to be released to general availability on 27 November 2025.

These preview release notes are provided as a convenience so you know what changes to the Universal Editor are upcoming and you can test them by switching to your preview environment.

Upcoming New Features what-is-new

  • Authorization headers have been disabled in favor of the local developer login.
  • A contextual menu is now available on the structured tree on right-click.
  • A hotkey was added to duplicate components.

Upcoming Improvements other-improvements

  • An issue with the RTE not saving properly on canvas was resolved.
  • Content picker folder tree clipping was fixed.
  • componentId is now provided during add action.
