Universal Editor Preview Release Notes preview
These are the release notes for the preview version of the Universal Editor. These features are currently available in your Universal Editor’s preview environment. These features are scheduled to be released to general availability on 12 March 2026.
These preview release notes are provided as a convenience so you know what changes to the Universal Editor are upcoming and you can test them by switching to your preview version.

Upcoming Features upcoming-features
- The items in the right rail can now be collapsed on the home screen.
- The assets selector now supports filter definitions.
- If there are no actions available for the selected item, the context menu no longer shows a chevron to access actions.

- If there is a model/filter/component definition, it will get refetched when switching from one app to another in the editor.
- Removing an image no longer leaves empty image tags when using DA as a back end.
- Classes in blocks are now properly handled when using DA as a back end.
- Open API now saves remote assets properly as objects.

- All extensions should updated to
@adobe/uix-guest>=1.1.7to improve stability.
