Journey global report

Journey global report can be accessed directly from your journey with the View report button.

The journey Global report page will be displayed with the following tabs:

The journey Global report is divided into different widgets detailing your journey’s success and errors. Each widget can be resized and deleted if needed. For more information on this, refer to this section.

For a detailed list of every metric available in Adobe Journey Optimizer, refer to this page.

Journey tab

From your journey Global report, the Journey tab gives you a clear view of the most important tracking data about your journey.

The Journey Performance widget allows you to see the path of your targeted profiles step-by-step through your journey.

The Journey Statistics widget displays the following KPIs:

  • Entered profiles: Total number of individuals who reached the entry event of the journey.

  • Exited profiles: Total number of individuals who exited the journey.

  • Failed individual journey: Total number of individual journeys that were not successfully executed.

The Events received by event, Events by origin and Top events widgets allow you to see which one of your Events was successfully executed through graphs and table.

Action Performance, Action Error Reasons and Top Actions widgets represent the most successful action and errors which occurred when your Actions were triggered.

The Top Actions table contains the data available for Actions, such as:

  • Actions successfully executed: Total number of Actions successfully executed for a journey.

  • Error in action: Total number of errors that occurred for Actions.

The Consent policies table and graph display the number of profiles excluded from each policy in your custom actions.

Note that for these widgets to appear in your Journeys reports, you will need to reset your dashboards. To do so, click Modify then Reset on the top of your report.

Email tab

From your journey Global report, the Email tab details the main information relative to the email deliveries sent in your journey.

The Email Sending Statistics graph details the success of your delivery:

  • Targeted: Number of profiles targeted by Adobe Journey Orchestration for any action such as send email or SMS.

  • Sent: Total number of sends for the delivery.

  • Delivered: Number of messages successfully sent, in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Delivery Rate: Percentage of messages successfully sent.

  • Bounces: Total of errors cumulated during delivery and automatic return processing in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Bounce Rate: Percentage of emails that bounced compared to emails sent.

  • Errors: Total number of errors that occurred during a delivery preventing it from being sent to profiles.

  • Error Rate: Percentage of errors that occurred during a delivery preventing it from being sent compared to emails sent.

The Email - Tracking statistics contains the available data for recipient activity for your delivery:

  • Opens: Number of times the delivery was opened in a delivery.

  • Unique Opens: Percentage of opened deliveries.

  • Unique Open Rate: Total number of opened emails compared to the number of delivered emails.

  • Clicks: Number of times a content was clicked in an email.

  • Unique Clicks:Number of recipients who clicked on a content in an email.

  • Click through rate: Percentage of users who interacted with the journey.

  • Unsubscribe: Number of clicks on the unsubscription link.

  • Spam complaints: Number of times a message was declared as spam or junk.

The Sending Statistics graph contains the data available for sent emails, such as:

  • Delivered: Number of messages successfully sent, in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Bounces: Total of errors cumulated during delivery and automatic return processing in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Errors: Total number of errors that occurred during a delivery preventing it from being sent to profiles.

The Bounce Reasons and Bounce categories widgets contain the data available related to bounced messages, such as:

  • Hard bounce: The total number of permanent errors, such as a wrong email address. This involves an error message that explicitly states that the address is invalid, such as Unknown user.

  • Soft bounce: The total number of temporary errors, such as a a full inbox.

  • Ignored: The total number of temporary, such as Out of office, or a technical error, for example if the sender type is postmaster.

The Error Reasons graph and table allow you to see which error occurred during your delivery.

The Excluded reasons graph and table display the different reasons that prevented user profiles, excluded from the targeted profiles, from receiving the message.

The Email - Top Url graph and table details which URLs from your delivery are the most visited.

The Email - Top recipient domain graph and table details which domains are the most used by recipients to open the email.

NOTE

The Optimized vs non optimized and Send time optimization widgets are only available if the Send-Time Optimization option is activated for your delivery. For more information on Send-Time Optimization, refer to this page.

The Optimized vs non optimized graph details the main information relative to your message whether they are optimized or not:

  • Sent: Total number of sends for the delivery.
  • Opens: Number of times the delivery was opened in a delivery.
  • Clicks: Number of times a content was clicked in an email.

The Send time optimization details the success of your delivery depending on the sending method: optimized or normal.

  • Delivered: Number of messages successfully sent, in relation to the total number of sent messages.
  • Bounces: Total of errors cumulated during delivery and automatic return processing in relation to the total number of sent messages.
NOTE

The Offers widgets and metrics are only available if a decision was inserted in an email. For more information on Decision Management, refer to this page.

The Offers statistic and Offers statistics over time widgets measure your offer’s success and impact on your targeted audience. It detail the main information relative to your message with KPIs:

  • Offer sent: Total number of sends for the offer.

  • Offer impression: Number of times the offer was opened in a delivery.

  • Offer clicks: Number of times an offer was clicked on in a delivery.

The Offers detailed statistic table contains the available data for recipient activity with your offer:

  • Placement name: Name of your placement used to display your offer. For more information on placement, refer to this page.

  • Offer name: Name of the offer added in the delivery. For more information on placement, refer to this page.

  • Offer sent: Total number of sends for the offer.

  • Offer impression rate: Percentage of opened offers compared to the number of sent offers.

  • Offer click rate: Percentage of users who interacted with the offer.

Push notification tab

From your journey Global report, the Push notification tab details the main information relative to the push deliveries sent in your journey.

The Push notification - Sending statistics table details the main information relative to your push notifications with graph and KPIs:

  • Targeted: Number of profiles targeted by Adobe Journey Orchestration for any action such as send email or SMS.

  • Sent: Total number of sends for the delivery.

  • Delivered: Number of messages successfully sent, in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Delivery Rate: Percentage of messages successfully sent.

  • Bounces: Total of errors cumulated during delivery and automatic return processing in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Bounce Rate: Percentage of push notifications that bounced compared to push notifications sent.

  • Errors: Total number of errors that occurred during a delivery preventing it from being sent to profiles.

  • Actions: Total number of actions on the push notification delivered, e.g. button click or dismissal.

  • Engagements: Total number of opens and actions for this push notification, i.e. if the profile opened the push or if a button was clicked on.

  • Engagement Rate: Percentage of opens and actions for this push notification, i.e. if the profile opened the push or if a button was clicked on.

The Push notification summary graph contains the data available for sent push notifications, such as:

  • Opens: Number of times a message was opened in a delivery.

  • Actions: Total number of actions on the push notification delivered, e.g. button click or dismissal.

  • Bounces: Total of errors cumulated during delivery and automatic return processing in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Delivered: Number of messages successfully sent, in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Errors: Total number of errors that occurred during a delivery preventing it from being sent to profiles.

The SMS - Sending statistics table details the success of your delivery:

  • Targeted: Number of user profiles who qualify as target profiles for this delivery.

  • Excluded: Number of user profiles, excluded from the targeted profiles, who did not receive the message.

  • Sent: Total number of sends for the delivery.

  • Delivered: Number of messages successfully sent, in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Bounces: Total of errors cumulated during delivery and automatic return processing in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Errors: Total number of errors that occurred during a delivery preventing it from being sent to profiles.

The SMS summary widget details the main information relative to your message with a graph:

  • Sent: Total number of sends for the delivery.

  • Delivered: Number of messages successfully sent, in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Bounces: Total of errors cumulated during delivery and automatic return processing in relation to the total number of sent messages.

  • Errors: Total number of errors that occurred during a delivery preventing it from being sent to profiles.

The Exclude Reasons graphs and tables allow you to see which error and exclusions occurred during your delivery.

The SMS - Clicks by links and SMS - Tracking statistics widgets detail the main information relative to your visitors’ engagement with your URLs.
