Gainsight PX supports the activation of identities described in the table below. Learn more about identities.

Export type and frequency
Refer to the table below for information about the destination export type and frequency.

Export type | Segment export | You are exporting all members of an audience with the identifiers (name, phone number, or others) used in the Gainsight PX destination. |
Export frequency | Streaming | Streaming destinations are “always on” API-based connections. When a profile is updated in Experience Platform based on audience evaluation, the connector sends the update downstream to the destination platform. Read more about streaming destinations. |
Connect to the destination
To connect to this destination, follow the steps described in the destination configuration tutorial. In the destination configuration workflow, fill in the fields listed in the two sections below.
Authenticate to destination
To authenticate to the destination, fill in the required fields and select Connect to destination.
- Password: The password used to log in to Gainsight PX
- Client ID: The Gainsight PX subscription ID on the Company Details page
- Client secret: The OAuth secret generated at the bottom of the Company Details page in the Gainsight PX UI.
- Username: The email used to log in to the Gainsight PX UI
Fill in destination details
To configure details for the destination, fill in the required and optional fields below. An asterisk next to a field in the UI indicates that the field is required.
- Name: A name by which you will recognize this destination in the future.
- Description: A description that will help you identify this destination in the future.
When you are finished providing details for your destination connection, select Next.
Activate segments to this destination

To activate data, you need the Manage Destinations, Activate Destinations, View Profiles, and View Segments access control permissions. Read the access control overview or contact your product administrator to obtain the required permissions.

To export identities, you need the View Identity Graph access control permission.
