Understanding the Transition to AEM as a Cloud Service

The migration journey to Cloud Service involves the following phases:

• Begin by determining if your deployment is ready to be moved to AEM as a Cloud Service with the Readiness Phase. In this phase, you should also familiarize yourself with the changes that AEM as a Cloud Service has introduced.
• Next, make your code and content cloud ready with the Implementation Phase. In this phase, you explore the tooling Adobe provides to ease the move to the cloud.
• After everything is in place, you can perform the migration with the Go-Live Phase.
• Finally, make sure to monitor for issues and improve performance after the migration is complete, in the Post Go-live Phase.
