Getting Started with Cloud Acceleration Manager get-started-cam
Cloud Acceleration Manager is a cloud-based application designed to guide your IT teams throughout the transition journey starting from planning to going live on Cloud Service. Set up your teams for a successful migration with Adobe-recommended best practices, tips, documentation, and tools to help at every phase of the journey to AEM as Cloud Service.

This document helps you understand how to get started with Cloud Acceleration Manager (CAM). After reading, you should be able to:
- understand how to log in to CAM
- create your project from the CAM’s UI
Using Cloud Acceleration Manager using-cam
Cloud Acceleration Manager (CAM) provides a one-stop experience for migrations. It comes in the form of a guided journey by providing an initial assessment, pointing them to the right tools, documentation, and best practices, to ensure a successful Go-live on AEM as a Cloud Service.
Navigating to Cloud Acceleration Manager navigating
Follow the steps below to navigate to Cloud Acceleration Manager (CAM):

Log on to Adobe Experience Cloud.

Click Experience Manager card.

Click Launch from the Cloud Acceleration Manager card so you can open the landing page.
Creating and Managing a Project in Cloud Acceleration Manager create-project
The landing page of the Cloud Acceleration Manager (CAM) lets you create and edit multiple projects.
Follow the steps below to create a project:

Click Create project from the landing page.
note note NOTE Users who are using CAM for the first time see a dialog box to create a project. Users who have used CAM in the past see a default project or previously created projects. -
Enter the Name and Description for your project and click Create.

The project is now created and displays on the Cloud Acceleration Manager landing page.

Click the project card so you can enter the project. You are taken to the project landing page.
Managing the Project manage-project
You can edit the project name, description, thumbnail image, or delete the project.
Editing the Project edit-project
Follow the steps below to edit your project:

Select the project and hover over the project, and click the pencil icon so you open edit the project, as shown in the figure below.

You can edit the project name, description, and even upload a new image or edit an existing one from Edit project dialog box.

Click Update to commit your changes.
Deleting the Project delete-project
Follow the steps below to delete your project:

Select the project and hover over the project, and click the bucket icon so you delete the project, as shown in the figure below.

Click Delete to confirm the step.
note note NOTE Projects will automatically expire and be deleted after 1 year of migration inactivity. Projects will remain active by editing the project name or description, uploading a BPA report, creating or editing a migration set, running an extraction or running an ingestion.
