Integration requirements

Set up approval workflows in Workfront

Before users can add an approval workflow on an Express template, a Proof administrator with a Standard license must create an approval workflow in Workfront.

Add an approval workflow to an Express templates

After an approval workflow template is created in Workfront, designers with an Express Enterprise premium license can assign it to an Express template directly within Adobe Express.

When a Express template is remixed, an approval will be required before publishing–automatically triggering the pre-configured approval workflow.

Users must have a Standard Workfront license to request approval from Adobe Express.

Remix Express templates and send for review and approval

Adobe Express users can remix Express templates to fit their needs. Before publishing, they must request approval from the designated approvers.

Throughout the content production and review and approval process, users can

  • See who has opened the file
  • View the decision status of all participants
  • Read comments
  • and more

Review and approve remixed Express file

Stakeholders can provide feedback relevant to their area of expertise—-such as copy, legal, or brand—-by using markup tools and comments in the Workfront proofing viewer.

They are also are responsible for making final decisions to approve the content so it can be published.

Users must have at least Collaborator Workfront license to review and make a decision.
