This page describes all update stream and notification enhancements made with the First Quarter 2025 release to the Preview environment. These enhancements will be made available in the Production environment with the First Quarter 2025 release.

Updated commenting experience in the Mentions widget in Home and My Updates area

Preview release: December 19, 2024; Production release for all customers: With the 25.1 release (January 2025)

We are updating the commenting experience in the Mentions widget in Home and the Mentions section in the My Updates area. Now, the same experience in the Updates area of most Workfront objects is also available in the Mentions widget and in the Mentions section of My Updates.

Prior to this enhancement, the legacy commenting experience was available in these areas.

NOTE
With this change, the following features have also been removed from the Mentions widget in Home:

  • The blue-dot indicator for marking an update read or unread

  • Grouping mentions according to their entry time.
