Use the My Requests widget
The highlighted information on this page refers to functionality not yet generally available. It is available only in the Preview environment for all customers. After the monthly releases to Production, the same features are also available in the Production environment for customers who enabled fast releases.

You can enable the new requesting experience in your Requests area.
The My Requests widget displays requests that you have submitted. You can filter the requests, search for specific requests, or adjust column order and visibility. You can also create a new request from the My Requests widget.
- When the My Requests widget loads, it displays up to 50 requests. To display more requests, scroll down the list.

Create a request
You can create a request directly from the My Requests widget.
For instructions, see the section Create a request in the article Create work items and projects from the Home area.
Copy a request
You can copy a request in the My Requests widget, edit it, and submit it as a new request.

Manage information in the requests list in the My Requests widget

Click the Main Menu
in the upper-left corner, then click Home.

(Conditional) To add the My Requests widget to your home screen. Click Customize, and find My Requests, then click it to add it to Home.

(Optional) To manage the way the information displays in the requests list, create or update the following view elements for the list:
- View
- Filter
- Columns
- Grouping
- Format cells
- Row height

- To filter for only Workfront requests, set the filter to Object type > Has any of > Issues.
- To filter for only Workfront Planning requests, set the filter to Object type > Has none of > Issues.
Search requests
To search for specific requests in the My Requests widget:

in the upper-left corner, then click Home.

(Conditional) To add the My Requests widget to your home screen. Click Customize, and find My Requests, then click it to add it to Home.

In the search bar near the upper-right of the My Requests widget, enter the term that you want to search for.
Requests that contain the term are highlighted in orange.

(Optional) To jump to the highlighted requests, click the up or down arrows in the search bar.
Go to an object created by a request
You can find objects created by a request in the My Requests widget.
- Planning and Workfront requests in the Subject field.
- Planning records created from Planning requests in the Object created field.
- Workfront tasks and issues converted from Workfront requests in the Object created field, in the Preview environment.

(Conditional) To add the My Requests widget to your home screen. Click Customize, and find My Requests, then click it to add it to Home.

Locate the request that created the object.

Click the object name in the Created object column for that request.
The object’s page opens.
note tip TIP In the Production environment, only Planning records have a link in the Created object field. In the Preview environment, Workfront tasks and projects converted from issues as well as Planning records created from Planning requests have a link in the Created object field.
