Create a New Category create-a-new-category

Sales Connect comes with two default categories to help organize your templates.

  1. Click the + icon next to Categories.

  2. Enter a name for your new category, then click Create.

The new category now appears in the navigation menu.

Edit a Template Category edit-a-template-category

We cannot delete an entire category or move templates in bulk to a new category at this time.

What you can do is, edit each template within the Category to either an existing Category name or a brand new name. This will move all of your existing templates into a different folder. Once the folder is empty, it will disappear.

Merge and De-Duplicate Categories merge-and-de-duplicate-categories

When your Sales Connect account is upgraded to the latest version of Templates, you may notice red alert icons next to some of your template categories. These indicate that you have multiple categories with the same name. By opening the menu to the right of your category, you can merge these duplicate categories with the click of a button.

Delete a Template Category delete-a-template-category

  1. Click the menu icon next to a category and then click Delete.

  2. Click Delete to confirm.

NOTE
Categories cannot be deleted if they still have templates in them. Move/delete these templates before deleting a category
