Learn how to enable permissions and use the Settings area to view connection details, define organizational rules, and set up integrations and notifications.

NOTE
This feature is in open beta and is currently in a phased rollout over the next few months. You will know when it is been enabled for your subscription when you see a Build with AI tile on your My Marketo screen.

Permissions and roles permission-and-role

There is an Access Build with AI permission and a Build with AI User role, giving administrators greater control over which users can access the Build with AI feature. The permission is assigned at the role level. The Build with AI User role comes with the Access Build with AI permission enabled by default.

IMPORTANT
The Access Build with AI permission is not enabled by default for all roles. See the table below for details.

Access Build with AI permission access-build-with-ai-permission

Follow the steps below to enable Access Build with AI for qualifying roles that don’t already have it enabled.

  1. In your My Marketo, click Admin, then Users & Roles.

  2. In the Roles tab, select the desired role and click Edit Role.

  3. Scroll down and check the Access Build with AI checkbox and click Save.

    You can use these same steps to remove the permission by unchecking the Access Build with AI checkbox.

Build with AI User role build-with-ai-user-role

Follows these steps to assign a specific user to the Build with AI User role.

NOTE
This role only contains the Access Build with AI permission.

  1. In your My Marketo, click Admin, then Users & Roles.

  2. Select the desired user and click Edit User.

  3. In Roles and Workspaces, select the Build with AI User checkbox. If you have more than one workspace, you can specify which ones get access in the + sign drop-down. Click Save when done.

You also have the option to create a new role and customize its permissions, adding Access Build with AI, along with anything else you want, and assigning that role to specific users.

  1. In your My Marketo, click the Build with AI tile.

  2. Click the gear icon.

Connection connection

This tab is does not contain editable fields. It shows you account information like your Munchkin ID and IMS Organization.

NOTE
Rules use Markdown format with YAML frontmatter. Global rules apply to all workspaces. Workspace rules override global settings.
