Choose the Share URL for a Social App

When you create a social app, you can choose which URL will be shared in the posts from participants.

IMPORTANT
On July 31, 2024, we began the process of deprecating this feature. New assets can no longer be created. Existing assets will continue to work through January 31, 2025. Learn more

  1. Go to Marketing Activities.

  2. Select the app, and click Edit Draft.

  3. In the social app editor, go to App Settings and then Advanced Options.

  4. Select the URL the social posts links to.

    NOTE
    Definition
    Share Posts can link to three places:
    • Referring Page: The page that contains the app.
    • Other Landing Page: A different Marketo landing page from the ones in the drop-down.
    • External URL: A non-Marketo landing page.
