Create a channel set up set-mobile-ios

This setup simplifies the rapid configuration of marketing channels, making all essential resources readily available in the Experience Platform, Journey Optimizer, and Data Collection apps. This allows your marketing team to quickly start creating campaigns and journeys.

  1. From Journey Optimizer homepage, click Begin from the Set up mobile and web channels card.

  2. Create a New configuration.

    If you already have existing configurations, you can choose to select one, or create a new configuration.

  3. Enter a Name for your new configuration and select or create your Datastream. This Name will be used for every auto-created resources.

  4. If your organization has multiple datastreams, please select one from the existing options. If you do not have a Datastream, one will be auto-created for you.

  5. Select your platform and click Auto-create resources.

  6. To streamline the setup process, the necessary resources are automatically created to help you get started. This includes the creation of a new Mobile Tag Property and installation of extensions.

  7. Once resources generation is done, follow the instructions in the user interface to set up and validate your SDKs and channels.

  8. After completing the configuration, share the auto-generated Channel Configuration with the team members responsible for creating Journeys and Campaigns.

  9. You can now reference the Channel Configuration in the Campaigns or Journeys interface, enabling a seamless connection between your setup and the execution of targeted journeys and campaigns for your audience.

Modify a mobile existing configuration reconnect

After creating your configuration, you can easily revisit it at any time to add additional channels or make further adjustments to suit your needs

  1. From Journey Optimizer homepage, click Begin from the Set up mobile and web channels card.

  2. Select Existing and choose your existing Tag property from the drop-down.

  3. When accessing your existing configuration, you need to reconnect with Adobe Assurance. From the SDK Setup menu, click Reconnect.

  4. Select your device from the Available devices drop-down and click Connect.

  5. You can now update your configuration as needed.
