Hello, my name is Don Nguyen and I’m a Product Manager for Adobe Journey Optimizer. Today I’m going to walk you through the Content Carts messaging channel and how it can help marketers boost engagement and conversations across their mobile and web applications. Unlike push and in-app notifications, Content Carts provide key updates, promotions, and messages within the mobile or web application without interrupting your users’ experience. Content Carts live inside the app or website, allowing you to engage with customers at their convenience. Content Carts are ideal for delivering targeted information. Think of them as flexible containers for your content that can be updated in real-time without needing a new app release. This ensures that you can always present fresh, relevant, and targeted content to your users. Now let’s jump in. For this demonstration, I’m going to use this feature within AGO campaigns to create a Content Card campaign for my hotel booking app. I want to create a new message for my fellow picklers in the Card section of the home screen that you can see on the simulator. If you know, you know. To do this, I’m going to create a new campaign and select Scheduled as the campaign type. And this is going to take me to the campaign properties page. If you’ve used other AGO messaging channels before, this should be pretty familiar to you. Here, I’m going to define the properties of my campaign. I’m going to give it a unique name. My target audience is going to be all mobile app users. My action type is going to be Content Cards. And I’m going to choose Vegas Stay app as my channel configuration. For Content Cards, the trigger feature is also supported. This can help me define when I want a user in my audience to qualify for this card. But for today’s demo, I’m just going to keep it simple and leave all the triggers out and just have it show when the user loads the home screen. Now with that done, I can start adding content to my message. Here, I’m going to add my card’s title, body, add an image, throw in a CTA button, and also provide an on-click behavior. With that done, I’m going to hit Review to activate. And this is going to take me to the summary of my campaign. I’ll activate the campaign, refresh the app, and here’s our new pickle-perfect Content Card message using AJO campaigns. Thank you.
