In this video we will explain the concept of account journey and how you can use it to engage your target audience. Account journey is a collection of interactions that your company has with the customer. Inch interaction represents one step within the account journey and that is what we call a node in AJL B2B. Account journey map is a graphical representation of the account journey and it shows interconnected steps, high in nodes. Account journey is based on targeting key accounts and the members of buying groups within those accounts while navigating the multifaceted relationship between people, accounts and opportunities. An account journey builder is a tool introduced by Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B edition to simplify and automate the process of creating account journeys. Account journey enables you to progress accounts through a series of steps and actions, manage the lifecycle of buying groups and engage with buying group stakeholders at key accounts through multichannel approach. To launch a journey optimizer B2B edition from your Adobe Experience Cloud homepage, you will click on the journey optimizer B2B edition icon and the application will display Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B edition homepage. Click the account journeys menu and you will see the account journeys homepage. On this page you may see existing account journeys or you may create new account journeys. For the existing journeys you may see the journey name, the journey status which may be draft, finished, live or scheduled. Before you publish the account journey it is in a draft status. Such journey is inactive meaning that the account audience is not entering the journey. After publishing the account journey it will be in a live status. Such journey is active meaning that the account audience is entering the journey. Scheduled status of the account journey means that it has been published but has not started yet. Such journey will start in the future meaning that the account audience will start entering the journey on the future date. Finished status of the account journey means that it has been published, was active in the past but is currently inactive and will not start again in the future. For the existing journeys you may also see when the journey was created, who created the journey, when the journey was last updated, who updated the journey last time, when the journey was published, who published the journey and start and end date of the journey. Start date is a date when journey becomes active i.e. the date when account audience starts entering the journey. It may be today or some date in future. End date is a date when journey becomes inactive i.e. the date when account audience ends entering the journey. It should be some date in the future. To select columns you want to see on this page you will click the icon. The columns that you deselect will not be displayed. The columns that you select will be displayed. To edit existing account journey that is in a draft status you will click the name displayed as a link on the account journey homepage and you will see journey designer page with the selected journey. This page consists of four parts. The header, action buttons, display options and journey canvas which is the central zone in the journey designer. The header includes basic information on the journey such as a journey name, edit icon which enables you to edit the name of the journey, status of the journey and when it was last saved. Journey settings enable you to choose when the account audience starts entering the journey once it is published, whether immediately or on a specific date. Start date is a date when journey becomes active. If you want the journey to start today you will set the start date to immediately. If you want the journey to start in the future you will set the start date to on a specific date. End date is a date when your journey becomes inactive. It must be one day to three years after the start date. If a journey is in a draft mode you may either publish it or delete it. If there are blocker errors in the journey you are not allowed to publish it. The button is dimmed and the information suggests that you need to resolve errors before publishing the journey. If there are no blocker errors in the journey you may publish it. Once you click the publish button you will select the start date of the journey which may be either immediately or on a specific date and you will also select the end date of a journey. You click the next button and you confirm the publish. Once you click the publish button the status of the journey will change from draft to live. If you click the delete button the journey will be deleted permanently once you confirm the delete. You may use several display options. Rotate will toggle between horizontal and vertical layout of the journey. You may zoom in, zoom out or fit to screen. Reset option will bring back the initial values. Display map will make it easier to navigate through the large journeys. There are several components you can use to build the journey, all of which will be explained in a separate video. This icon represents the start of the journey and this one the end of the journey. The journey always starts with an account audience which is an input for the journey. A listen node will wait for specific events to occur. An action node will apply some action on the audience. Wait node will wait for a specific period of time before moving to the next step. Split path will split your audience based on some conditions and move them through the journey in separate streams. Merge paths will merge previously split paths. The accounts from the selected paths will combine to a single path and continue to progress through the journey. To edit existing account journey that is in a scheduled status, you will click the name displayed as a link on the account journey homepage and you will see a new screen. In this case when journey status is scheduled, you may either abort the journey or you may use journey settings to modify the end date of the journey. To edit existing account journey that is in a live status, you will click the name displayed as a link on the account journey homepage and you will see a new screen. In this case when journey status is live, you have three options. You can use journey settings to modify the end date of the journey or you can click the more button to close the journey to new entries or to abort the journey. To edit existing account journey that is in a finished status, you will click the name displayed as a link on the account journey homepage and you will see a new screen. In this case when journey status is finished, you have only one option and that is to delete the journey. And this is the end of this video. We have explained the concept of account journey.
