This page describes orgId in the Server SDK configure method. For the Web SDK, see orgId.
The orgId property is a string that tells Adobe which organization the data belongs to. This property is required.
To locate your organization ID:
- Log in to Adobe Experience Cloud using your Adobe ID credentials.
- Anywhere within Adobe Experience Cloud, press
[Ctrl]+[I](Windows) or[Cmd]+[I](macOS). A User Data Debugger window opens. - Copy the Current Org ID, or select the Assigned Orgs tab to see other organizations that you can access.
Organization IDs are 24-character alphanumeric strings that end in @AdobeOrg.
The SDK uses orgId in the following ways:
- It sends
orgIdin thex-gw-ims-org-idheader of authenticated requests. Use the same organization that owns youredgeCredentialscredential. - It includes
orgIdin the names of the identity and consent cookies, such askndctr_ADB3LETTERSANDNUMBERS_AdobeOrg_identity. These are the same cookie names that the Web SDK uses for the same organization.
Code example
Set the orgId string property when you call configure. If you omit it, configure rejects with an error.
await alloy.configure({
datastreamId: "ebebf826-a01f-4458-8cec-ef61de241c93",
orgId: "ADB3LETTERSANDNUMBERS@AdobeOrg",
edgeCredentials: {
clientId: process.env.ADOBE_CLIENT_ID,
clientSecret: process.env.ADOBE_CLIENT_SECRET,
scopes: process.env.ADOBE_SCOPES.split(",")
}
});
