CJA Alert Manager does not show all alerts

Users expect to see all available alerts in the CJA Alert Manager, but only a subset appears for most users. This behavior occurs due to role-based access in Customer Journey Analytics, where alert visibility depends on whether the user is a product admin. Non-admin users can only view alerts they created, while product admins can access and manage alerts created by others.

Issue/Symptoms

  • A user can only see alerts that they created in the Alert Manager.
  • Alerts created by other users are not visible.

Resolution resolution

This behavior is expected and is controlled by user permissions. Only CJA Product Admins can view and edit alerts created by other users in the organization. Product admins can use the Show all filter under Other filters in the Alert Manager to display all alerts across the organization and modify them as needed. Non-admin users will only see alerts they created because there is no functionality to share alerts between users.
