SMS OOB Template issue

Learn how are OOB SMS templates different from Direct Mail templates.

Issue/Symptoms

When looking at the OOB SMS templates (like Send to mobile or Mobile Transactional Message), you will find those templates to be same as Direct Mail template.

Resolution

Solution

In order to change the template to the exact SMS template, you have to configure the external account type of SMS (Extended Generic) in Properties >   Routing.
