ACSD-48300: return cannot be created if configurable product is removed
The ACSD-48300 patch fixes the issue where a return cannot be created if the configurable product is removed. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.1.25 is installed. The patch ID is ACSD-48300. Please note that the issue is scheduled to be fixed in Adobe Commerce 2.4.6.

Return cannot be created if the configurable product is removed.
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable RMA on the storefront at Stores > Configuration > Sales > Sales > RMA Settings.
- Create a configurable product.
- On the storefront, create an account (and/or log in).
- Add a configurable product to the cart as the first item.
- Add any simple product afterward.
- Place the order.
- Ship the order.
- Now delete the configurable product only (do not delete its child products).
- On the storefront, go to My Orders and view the order.
- Click on Return.
Expected results:
The admin is able to return items even though the configurable product is deleted.
Actual results:
An error occurs when returning items.
