MDVA-34886: no search results when “weight” attribute used
The MDVA-34886 patch solves the issue where search does return results when the weight attribute is configured as searchable. This patch is available when the Quality Patches Tool (QPT) 1.0.16 is installed. Please note that the issue was fixed in Adobe Commerce version 2.4.3.

package to the latest version and check the compatibility on the Quality Patches Tool: Search for patches page. Use the patch ID as a search keyword to locate the patch.Issue
Search does return results when the weight attribute is configured as searchable.
Steps to reproduce:
- Configure Elasticsearch.
- Navigate to Admin > Stores > Attributes > Product. Edit the Weight attribute, and set its attribute Searchable = Yes.
- Save the attribute, and clear the configuration cache.
- On the frontend, search for a text value (Example: bag).
- Observe that the search does not return any results.
- The exception log will contain an error message like:
{"type":"number_format_exception","reason":"For input string: \"bag\""}
Expected results:
The Search returns results even when the weight attribute is configured as searchable, as expected.
Actual results:
The Search does not return results when the weight attribute is configured as searchable.
