This task grouping allows you to group tasks by the Project Sponsor.

Group by Project Sponsor for a task list

To apply this grouping:

  1. Go to a list of tasks.

  2. From the Grouping drop-down menu, select New Grouping.

  3. Click Switch to Text Mode.

  4. Remove the text in the area that displays and replace it with the following code:

    code language-none
    group.0.name=Project Sponsor
    group.0.valuefield=project:sponsor:name
    group.0.valueformat=string
    
  5. Click Done.

  6. Update the grouping name, then click Save Grouping.
