Access needed to budget resources in Workfront

When your company has purchased an Adobe Workfront license that includes Resource Planning you can view resource budgeting information for the projects that you have permissions to view. You can view budgeting information in the Resource Planner.

In order to budget resources, manage Resource Pools, and see Cost information in the resource planning tools, your company and you must have the following access:

Adobe Workfront package
Any
Adobe Workfront license

Access level configurations
  • Edit access to Resource Management in your access level that includes:

    • Access to edit project priorities and budget hours.

    • Access to manage Resource Pools, if you need to manage Resource Pools.

  • Edit access to Projects and Users.

  • Edit access to Financial Data in your access level, if you need to view or manage information by Cost.

Object permissions

Manage permissions on the project that include Manage Finance permissions.

NOTE: When budgeting resources in the Role view, if you have less than Manage permissions for at least one project listed under the role, you cannot budget hours, FTE, or Cost for the role. You can budget only the projects that you have Manage permissions for.
