Install Adobe Cloud Drive
To work with your Adobe cloud storage projects on your desktop, install Adobe Cloud Drive on your Mac or Windows computer.

Prerequisites
Before you install Adobe Cloud Drive, make sure of the following:
- Your device meets the system requirements listed in the System requirements section in this article.
- Your organization is on a version of Workfront that supports Adobe cloud storage.
If your organization manages application installs for you and you don’t see Adobe Cloud Drive available for download, contact your Workfront administrator.
System requirements
Operating systems:
- macOS 13.5 or newer (Intel and Apple Silicon)
- Windows 11 22H2 (22621.6060) or newer (x64)
- Windows 11 23H2 (22631.6199) or newer (ARM)
Hardware:
- Minimum 4 GB RAM
- 500 MB of free disk space for the application
- Additional space for cached files (varies by usage)
Network:
- Internet connection for initial setup and synchronization
- Stable connection recommended for performance
To make sure Adobe Cloud Drive can reach the services it depends on, allow the network endpoints listed in Adobe network endpoints.
Download the installer

Go to Adobe Software Distribution.

Sign in with your Adobe ID.

In the General downloads list, locate Adobe Cloud Drive.

Select the installer for your operating system:
- macOS: Adobe Cloud Drive for Mac (ARM64 or Intel)
- Windows: Adobe Cloud Drive for Windows (x64 or ARM64)

Click Download.
note important IMPORTANT If you don’t see the Adobe Cloud Drive installer, your organization might not be on a version of Workfront that supports Adobe cloud storage. Contact your Workfront administrator.
Install Adobe Cloud Drive
Use the procedure for your operating system.
Install on macOS

Open the downloaded
.dmgfile. -
Double-click the install icon that appears.

Follow the on-screen setup wizard.

When prompted, sign in with your Adobe ID.
If another Adobe desktop application is already running and you’re signed in, Adobe Cloud Drive uses that active session automatically.
Install on Windows

Run the downloaded
.exeinstaller. -
Follow the prompts in the installation wizard.

Click Install when prompted.

Launch Adobe Cloud Drive from the Start menu.

When prompted, sign in with your Adobe ID.
Verify the installation
After installation, Adobe Cloud Drive appears as a mounted drive on your computer:
- macOS: In the Finder sidebar under Locations, as Adobe Cloud Drive.
- Windows: In File Explorer under This PC, as Adobe Cloud Drive.
You should see your Adobe cloud storage projects listed as folders inside the drive.
