A document is added to a project I own

The Project Owner receives an email notification when a document is added to the project, unless the user who added the document is also the Project Owner.

A notification is sent only if the project status is Current and the document is not Private.

The subject of the instant notification email is: Document added to <Project Name>

The subject of the daily digest notification is: Digest of Projects You Own <Date of daily digest>

A notification is sent only if the project status is Current or Planning.

Note: If the task is changed to a status that equates with Complete, the subject of the email still displays "Complete".

A project I own gets behind

The Project Owner receives an email notification when the project is behind schedule. A project is behind schedule when the Progress Status is "At Risk," "Behind," or "Late."

The best practice is to keep this notification active.

Users with a Review license do not receive a notification.

I'm set as the owner of a new project

When a user is assigned as the owner of a project, that user receives an email notification.

If the Project owner is the same user who made the assignment, an email notification is not sent.

Users with a Review license do not receive a notification.

Turn this on because they're being assigned to something.

Assigning something, sharing something, getting access for something.

The subject of the instant notification email is: You're now the project owner of <Project Name>

The following text is included in the body of the email notification:

Hi <Your Name>,
<Name of the user who assigned you as the Project Owner> made you the owner of <Project Name>. As the Project Owner, you might receive additional email notifications about project activity, be required to approve hours for the project, or be involved in approving work related to the project. It's all yours.
