Upload documents from InDesign
You can upload your projects as documents for a quick review and approval or simply to store in Adobe Workfront.
Access requirements
You must have the following access to perform the steps in this article:

Product | You must have an Adobe Creative Cloud license in addition to a Workfront license. |
Access level configurations* |
Edit access to Documents Note: If you still don't have access, ask your Workfront administrator if they set additional restrictions in your access level. For information on how a Workfront administrator can modify your access level, see Create or modify custom access levels. |
Object permissions |
View access or higher to the object where you want to upload a document. For information on requesting additional access, see Request access to objects. |
*To find out what plan, license type, or access you have, contact your Workfront administrator.
Prerequisites

You must install the Adobe Workfront for design and video plugin before you can upload documents from InDesign.

Upload documents to InDesign

Click the Menu icon in the top-right corner, then select Work List. You can also use the menu to navigate to parent objects.

Go to the work item where you want to upload a document.

Click the Document icon in the navigation bar.

Click New File near the bottom of the plugin.

(Optional) Type a comment in the Updates area.

Choose the Asset Type from the drop-down menu.

Open the Set Export File Settings dialog boxthen configure any desired export options based on the asset type chosen above.

Click Upload.
The document appears in the Documents area in the plugin and the desktop app.
