Update your work using the Adobe Workfront plugin

You can update your work from any of the following Adobe Creative Cloud applications:

  • Photoshop
  • XD
  • InDesign
  • Illustrator
  • Premiere Pro
  • After Effects

Product You must have an Adobe Creative Cloud license in addition to a Workfront license.
Object permissions

View access to the object you want to update.

*To find out what plan, license type, or access you have, contact your Workfront administrator.

Prerequisites

You must install the correct plugin for the Adobe Creative Cloud application you’re using:

Post an update

You can update your work from any of the following areas in the plugin:

  • Projects
  • Tasks
  • Subtasks
  • Issues
  • Documents

To post an update:

  1. Click the Menu icon in the top-right corner, then select Work List. You can also use the menu to navigate to parent objects.

  2. From the Work List, select the work item you need to post an update to.

  3. Click Update in the navigation bar.

  4. Click New Update.

  5. Type your update.

  6. (Optional) To tag a user, type the @ symbol and the user’s name, then choose their name from the drop-down menu.

  7. Click Submit. Updates are synced with the Adobe Workfront web application in real time.
