View and Manage Adobe Workfront notifications from Adobe Creative Cloud
You can receive notifications in the Adobe Creative Cloud from Adobe Workfront about items you need to approve, assignments you’ve been given, or comments and changes to items you’re associated with.
These notifications contain Workfront actions that you can take without navigating away from the Adobe Creative Cloud to accomplish them.
Notifications are available in the following Adobe Creative Cloud apps:
- Photoshop
- XD
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Premiere Pro
- After Effects
Access requirements
You must have the following access to perform the steps in this article:

Prerequisites
You must install the correct plugin for the Adobe Creative Cloud application you’re using:

You have enabled instant notifications in Workfront. For information on enabling instant notifications, see Modify your own email notifications.
View and manage Workfront notifications in Adobe Creative Cloud

Click on the Notifications icon near the top of the plugin panel. A blue dot on the icon indicates that you have unread notifications.

(Optional) To mark all notifications as seen, click Mark all as seen.
This marks notifications as seen in the plugin as well as in Workfront. Seen notifications are no longer visible on the list of notifications in the plugin.

To go to the work item mentioned in a notification, click the notification.
Workfront notifications available in the Adobe Creative Cloud plugin
The following notifications are available in the plugin:
- Someone included you on a directed update
- Someone included your team on a directed update (@teamname)
- Someone commented on your user profile
- Someone commented on an update you’re included in
- Someone commented on your work item or something you did
- Your document is approved / approved with changes / rejected
