Edit or assemble an existing package
A package must be in DRAFT
status to be edited.

Go to the environment that you want to edit the package in. This is the environmentwhere the package was originally created.

Click the Main Menu icon

Select System in the left navigation, then select Environment Promotion.

Select the package from the displayed list.

(Conditional) To see disabled packages, enable the Show retired packages option.

(Optional) To view the contents, including all objects and their sub-objects, click the drop-down arrow next to the object type in the Contents section.

(Optional) To view previous installations and installation attempts of this package, click Deployments.

(Optional) To edit the package, click Edit Package at the upper-right of the screen.
A package must be inDRAFT
status to be edited. To move the package toDRAFT
status, in the Status field, selectDraft
. You can then continue editing the package. -
To install the package, click Install at the upper-right of the screen.

Create a package from an object comparison
You can create a package directly from an object comparison.

Create an object comparison, as described in Compare objects between environments.

In the generated comparison, select the objects that you want to include in the package.

Click Create package in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Enter a name and description for the package.

Click Create package in the Create package window.
The package is generated.
