Configure default proof email notification settings

Proofing users in Adobe Workfront can receive email notifications from both Workfront and Workfront Proof when comments or decisions are made on a proof. If users are already receiving email notifications from Workfront Proof, we recommend that you disable notifications sent from Workfront to avoid duplicate notification emails.

Configure default proof email notification settings

To configure proof email notification settings that are sent from Workfront:

  1. Click the Main Menu icon Main Menu in the upper-right corner of Adobe Workfront, or (if available), click the Main Menu icon Main Menu in the upper-left corner, then click Setup Setup icon .

  2. Expand Email, then click Review and Approval.

  3. In the Proof Notifications in Workfront section, decide whether to enable or disable the option, Send emails from Workfront when a comment is made on a proof.

    • When this setting is enabled, users receive an email from Workfront when a comment is made on a proof.
    • When this setting is disabled, users do not receive an email from Workfront when a comment is made on a proof.
  4. Click Save.
