- How to create a timeframe filter to zoom in within a date range
Transcript
Now that we’ve identified a project and an area in its timeline that we want to investigate further, we can come over here to the left-hand side and click on the project name to make the burn down chart and the tasks and flight charts appear. In upcoming videos, we’ll dig deeper into these charts and how to use them, but know that clicking on a project name in the flight plan is what triggers those reports or those charts to appear. The other option I have is if I want to look at the days before and the days after a change in condition on a project, I can drag a marquee to create a timeframe and zoom in to that specific area. You’ll notice that for the burn down chart and the tasks in flight, it also zooms in on that specific area of information, so you can take a closer look at how tasks or planned hours are being completed across time and what tasks were being completed, which may have caused that change in condition.
