Adobe Marketo Engage helps marketers build, manage, and analyze personalized marketing campaigns. Today we’ll walk through how to create a form in a program. In this video, you will Learn how to create and configure a form in a program Discover how to customize and personalize a form Preview and approve a form for use See how to add a form to a Marketo Engage landing page Marketo Engage forms are used for many purposes From lead capture initiatives to data enrichment such as event registrations, gated web content, and contact or demo requests They are added to Marketo Engage landing pages or external websites In this video, we’ll learn how to create and enable a form For our example, we’ll use a scenario where the goal of our program is to inform customers about a new product launch Customers will receive an email that includes a link to a landing page with a form to submit new product inquiries To begin, navigate to a previously configured Email Send program To create a new form, locate the Form subfolder in the program’s Assets folder and right-click Select New Local Asset, Form Name your form using a standardized naming convention, and click Create Note, you have the flexibility of cloning, moving, or creating new forms for your initiatives You can also reuse forms across initiatives, like a global contact form that is referenced by multiple programs In the Form Editor, you will see configuration options Add common fields like First Name, Last Name, Email, and Company to your form You will see various editable properties to customize your field’s type, data input settings, and style Choose Form Prefill to pre-populate data for your already known audience They will not have to retype this data when they return Navigate to Form Settings to adjust the theme Or add custom CSS to style the form for the MarkHEDO Engage landing page or external web page it will be embedded on Adjust other form functionalities like language, font, and enable progressive profiling A feature that displays additional fields to gather new information every time known people return to your form Lastly, configure the form follow-up Choose a MarkHEDO Engage landing page or an external URL for redirect You can personalize the audience experience based on their data or form input In our scenario, we have previously configured a thank you page that we will add as the follow-up for form fillers Once finalized, preview your form and then approve It’s now ready to be embedded into a MarkHEDO Engage landing page or external web site Now, we’ll navigate to a previously created landing page in our program Choose Create Draft and add our approved form in the Form Element area You will need to approve the landing page for use To embed your form on an external web site, copy the embed code and place it on the site You can now preview your form on the MarkHEDO Engage landing page or external web site and test the form fill MarkHEDO forms are key marketing assets that generate leads, gather audience information, and provide ways for your audiences to engage with your brand Make sure to review all of their features and functionalities in the product documentation In this video, you Learned how to create and configure a form in a program Discovered how to customize a form Previewed and approved a form for use Saw how to add a form to a MarkHEDO Engage landing page
