About the whiteboard
A whiteboard is a shared digital canvas in a Live Hub session that Instructors and learners can work on together in real time. It works like a classroom whiteboard, but online: you can draw freehand, add shapes and text, annotate ideas, and organize content across multiple boards, all visible to everyone in the session.
The whiteboard helps you:
-
Explain complex topics using visual aids.
-
Collaborate interactively with learners during live sessions.
-
Organize content across multiple boards and pages.
Instructors can share a whiteboard in a Live Hub to visually explain concepts, annotate ideas, and collaborate with learners in real time. The whiteboard provides a shared canvas with drawing tools, shapes, text, zoom controls, and collaboration features. Learners can also draw, add shapes, and erase content when the Instructor enables editing permissions.
Roles and permissions
The whiteboard is available to both Instructors and Learners in a Live Hub session. Available actions vary based on the user role.
