Share your screen as a Learner

As a Learner, screen sharing allows you to follow what others present and, when your Instructor allows it, share your own screen during a Live Hub session. Shared content appears on the main stage and updates in real time, so you can watch a demonstration, view a whiteboard, or take part in an activity as it happens.

This guide explains how to view shared content and share your screen as a Learner.

Share your screen

You can share your screen during a session only if an Instructor has enabled screen sharing.

To share your screen:

  1. Select share-screen from the control bar. A pop-up window appears.

  2. Select one of the following:

    1. Chrome tab: Share a browser tab.

    2. Window: Share a specific application.

    3. Entire screen: Share your full screen.

  3. (Optional) Enable Also share tab audio to include audio from the shared tab.

  4. Select the content you want to share.

  5. Select Share. The selected content is displayed to all the learners.

Use annotation tools

While you are sharing your screen, you can annotate on it to highlight information or explain content to others in the session. To annotate, select the annotate (pen) icon in the upper-right corner of the shared screen. View Use annotation tools for more information.
