Manage the room settings
In a Live Hub session, Instructors can control participant permissions and room behavior using in-room settings. These settings allow you to manage participant interactions, what is captured in the recording, privacy, and AI-powered assistance features to ensure a structured and engaging session.
Access in-room settings

Join the Live Hub session.

Select More actions from the control bar.

Select Settings.

Select the relevant tab from the left panel:

Participant permissions: Control what participants can do during the session, such as using their microphone, camera, screen share, whiteboard, and private chat.

Recording: Choose what gets captured in the recording, including participant video feeds, polls, and the chat transcript.

AI: Turn the session’s AI assistants on or off, including the Q&A assistant, poll assistant, breakout monitoring agent, and recording topics generation.

Privacy: Show or hide enrolled participants who haven’t joined the session yet.

Change the required settings.

Select Done.
In-room settings options
The following settings help you manage the session by controlling what participants can do, what is captured in the recording, which AI assistants are active, and how participants appear to one another.
Participant permissions
Default: Participants can use their microphone, share their camera, and send private messages in chat.
Recording
Default: Participant video feeds and polls are captured in the recording, while the chat transcript is not.
AI
Default: All AI assistants are enabled if the Administrators have enabled them.
Privacy
Default: All enrolled participants are visible to everyone.
