Respond to a poll
As a Learner, polls help you participate actively in a Live Hub session. When an Instructor launches a poll, it appears in the Polls & Quizzes panel, where you can submit your response by selecting one or more options or entering a short text answer, depending on the poll type. You can update your response while the poll remains open. If the Instructor shares the results, you can view the poll outcomes in real time. This article explains how to respond to polls and view shared results during a session.
Submit your response
When an Instructor launches a poll during a session, it appears on your screen. To respond to a poll, do one of the following based on the poll type:

Multiple-choice or Multiple-answer poll: Select the applicable answer option(s).

Short-answer poll: Type your response in the text field.
After you submit, the message Your response has been recorded appears.
After submitting a poll response, the message Your response has been recorded appears.
Update your response
You can change your answer while the poll is still live. The poll stays on your screen.
To update your response, select a different answer option, or edit your text response. Your updated selection is saved automatically.
