Ground your course in your own documents
Most AI course tools generate content from general knowledge - a problem when your training needs to match your organization’s actual policies, procedures, or regulatory language, rather than a plausible-sounding approximation.
Content Composer lets you control exactly where the AI draws from. When you upload source files and select Restrict output to content in files, Content Composer generates every part of the course - outline, lessons, and quiz - only from what you provided. The AI doesn’t introduce outside information, even to fill a gap it identifies as missing.
This matters most for:
-
Compliance and regulatory training: where course content must match your actual policy language.
-
Procedure and SOP training: where a “close enough” AI-generated step could be actively wrong.
-
Product or systems training: where the course needs to reflect your specific configuration, not a generic version of the tool.
If you’d rather let the AI supplement your material with its own general knowledge - useful for broader or less sensitive topics - leave the restriction unselected. If you have no source material at all, choose Generate the course without source files.
