If you use Microsoft® Visual Studio Code as IDE, you can use Adaptive Forms extension for Microsoft Visual Studio Code. The extension:
- Adds IntelliSense capabilities for Adaptive Forms to Visual Studio Code
- Helps validate and auto-complete JSON syntax for Headless adaptive forms components
- Provides a panel to easily navigate the structure for a Headless adaptive form
- Helps translate a Headless adaptive form
Prerequisites
- Download and install Microsoft Visual Studio Code 1.62.0 or later. If you have an older version or no version installed, download the latest version from Microsoft Website. To use Visual Studio from command line on Apple macOS, see Launching from the command line.
- Download the Adaptive forms builder extension.
Install the extension

Open command prompt and navigate to the directory containing the downloaded extension file, adaptive-form-builder-[version].vsix.

Run the following command to install the extension:
code -–install-extension adaptive-form-builder-0.12.0.vsix
