Issue/Symptoms

Administrators managing SSL certificates for domain mappings in Cloud Manager may not receive proactive email notifications or Action Center alerts when these certificates are approaching expiration, and certificate expiration must be monitored manually through the Cloud Manager UI.
Expiration notifications are sent by email for Service-to-Service (S2S) credentials but not for domain-mapping SSL certificates.
UI notifications may be present, but are insufficient for teams relying on email workflows.
The absence of automated alerts increases the risk of overlooked certificate expirations, which can lead to HTTPS failures and service disruptions.

Cause

Currently, Cloud Manager does not support proactive email or Action Center notifications for expiring domain-mapping certificates; only UI notifications are available for this event type.

Resolution resolution

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

Regularly monitor the Cloud Manager UI for certificate status and expiration warnings related to domain-mapping SSL certificates.
Maintain an internal schedule or tracking system to review certificate expiration dates and plan renewals in advance.
If proactive email or Action Center notifications for expiring domain-mapping certificates are required, submit an enhancement request through Adobe Support or your Customer Success Manager. Include details such as the need for notifications at defined intervals before expiration and the preferred notification channels (email, Action Center).
For Service-to-Service (S2S) credentials, ensure that email notifications are enabled, as these are supported by Cloud Manager.
Confirm that UI notifications for certificate expiration appear in Cloud Manager and that your internal tracking process is in place.

Note: Cloud Manager currently supports UI notifications for expiring domain-mapping SSL certificates but does not support proactive email or Action Center notifications for this event type.
