AEMaaCS environment creation fails in Cloud Manager

Environment creation in Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) can fail during provisioning in Cloud Manager. Common causes include insufficient Cloud Manager permissions, pipeline execution errors, incomplete configuration, missing product profiles, timeouts, or concurrent environment creation processes. Verify permissions, validate product profiles, review pipeline logs, and confirm program configuration to complete environment provisioning successfully.

Description description

Environment

  • Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
  • Cloud Manager
  • Adobe Admin Console
  • AEM Forms Cloud Service

Issue/Symptoms

  • Environment creation fails in Cloud Manager after running for some time.
  • Cloud Manager displays a failure state during the creation process.
  • Provisioning does not complete.
  • No explicit error string appears in the Cloud Manager UI.

Resolution resolution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to Cloud Manager and go to Program > Environments > Create Environment. Confirm that the Create Environment option is visible.
  2. If the Create Environment option is missing, contact your organization administrator to review your Cloud Manager role and permissions.
  3. Sign in to Adobe Admin Console with administrative access.
  4. Go to Products > Automated Forms Conversion Service and confirm that at least one product profile exists.
  5. If no profile exists, create a product profile for Automated Forms Conversion Service. If you cannot create or access profiles, contact your organization administrator.
  6. In Cloud Manager, go to Program > Environments and confirm that no other environment creation process is running.
  7. If another environment creation process is running, let the existing task complete, then retry environment creation.
  8. Go to Program > Pipelines and identify the pipeline linked to the environment.
  9. Open the pipeline logs and confirm whether the provisioning stage completed without errors.
  10. If the pipeline logs show errors, download the logs for review.
  11. Verify that the program includes the required environment type, such as production, staging, or development.
  12. Confirm that the environment quota is not exceeded.
  13. After resolving permissions, product profile, pipeline, configuration, or concurrent creation issues, return to Program > Environments > Create Environment and retry environment creation.
  14. Validate that the new environment appears under Program > Environments with a Ready status.
  15. Trigger a pipeline execution to confirm that the environment accepts deployments successfully.
