Campaign: Dynamic content blocks are broken after migration from ACS to ACC
This article explains why certain type of dynamic content blocks supported in Campaign Standard doesn’t work in Campaign Classic V8.
Description description
After migrating from ACS to ACC V8, dynamic content blocks in certain workflows became broken and unusable. Dynamic content blocks were split into separate blocks, where the conditions were displayed as unreadable text consisting of rules and additional metadata.
Resolution resolution
In the Email Designer used in Campaign V8 WebUI Adobe decided to limit dynamic content support to structural and component-level elements. Dynamic content within text blocks was intentionally removed, as it was determined that Handlebars or XTK syntax could achieve the same results. Consequently, these features are currently unavailable through the user interface. Customers can create new delivery templates using the features available in the Email Designer, however templates migrated from Campaign Standard need to be adapted.
