Labeled schema property fields not visible in the UI in AEP
Missing labeled schema fields can confuse users and slow down work because expected data may not appear in the UI. This can also cause misconfigurations and inconsistent access, making schemas and permissions harder to manage. Some schema property fields don’t appear in the Experience Platform UI when labels are applied due to missing role-based permissions or sandbox access. To fix this issue, update role permissions, resource access, and sandbox assignments in Adobe Experience Platform.

Issue/Symptoms
Schema property fields that have labels aren’t visible to certain users in the UI, even though the users have those labels assigned.
Resolution resolution
To fix this issue, follow these steps:
- Go to Permissions
>Roles, and review the roles assigned to the affected user and identify the roles that should grant access to schema fields with specific core labels. - In the role editor, open the Permissions tab and confirm that the role has at least read permission for the schema-fields resource type.
- In the same role editor, open the Sandboxes tab and assign access to the appropriate sandbox (for example, the prod sandbox) to these roles.
- Alternatively, add the required core labels to an existing role that already has the necessary permissions and sandbox access
- Save and apply the changes to update the role configurations.
- Verify that the previously missing schema property fields now appear in the UI.
Note: If a role does not have both permissions and sandbox access, its associated core labels will not be considered during authorization checks, resulting in access being denied to certain schema fields.
