Issue/Symptoms

The active profile count increases abnormally, sometimes nearly doubling within a short period and continuing to rise each month.
The count shown in the nmsActiveContact table is significantly higher than expected based on unique recipient data or historical trends.

To resolve inflated active profile counts:

Review all configured target mappings in your Adobe Campaign instance.
Identify any target mappings that share the same log schema.
Assign a unique log schema to each target mapping.
Reconfigure mappings that reference the same log schema so each uses its own schema.
