When accessing a proof through the New Proof email notification, or by the Proof’s URL, a blank white screen is encountered.

Step to resolve:
Often, users cannot access the proof because they are not added to the Sharing permission list on the Document Object. To fix this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Document object directly in Workfront and select Document Details.
  2. Click on Share to list the sharing permissions of the Document object. Check whether the user’s name is listed.
  3. If not, add the user to the sharing permissions. The user will be able to access the proof after this is done.

Clear browser cache and cookies (for most browsers follow the steps below):

  1. Navigate to your browser’s settings
  2. Locate the “Privacy” or “History” section
  3. Choose to clear browsing data, specifically selecting “Cookies and other site data”
  4. Select a timeframe for at least the past four weeks.
  5. Close all Workfront and Proof tabs or windows
  6. Test accessing Proofs again.

Check the user contact in ProofHQ (admin required)

  1. It is possible that duplicate user contacts can be created in the ProofHQ system by mistake, and when this happens it needs to be corrected for permissions to operate correctly.
  2. Go to the Main Menu > > Proofing. From there click the “Contacts” in the side bar and look for the user that is trying to access the proof.
  3. Verify that their name and email match their details in Workfront and that their is only one entry for the user.
  4. If you see a duplicate entry, please contact Customer Support to help correct that.

If users are still seeing an error or duplicate contacts exist, please contact Customer Support and provide the following information:

  1. Name and email of the logged in user
  2. The link being used to access the proof
