AEM as a Cloud Service 2024.4.0 release update

The features in this release focus on Experience Manager Assets and Cloud Service innovations.

It’s time for another update. And this is a great one for Essex users. Let’s check it out. As always, the Adobe Experience Manager team innovate around these pillars, high impact experiences, content by all, for all and actionable intelligence and of course, foundation platform of rapid development. Let’s have a look at some new innovation that empowers everyone to create great content at scale. Its first enhancements a simple one, but saves you a lot of effort and makes it more intuitive. Renaming assets by just a single click on the file name to bring up a dialog and change that asset. One of the key use cases for asset management is to find great assets. This new feature simplifies the search experience by using natural language and allows you to type in not just the name of the file or what’s in it, but more detail to narrowly on the searches and find the results quickly. We find this really intuitive to use and allows you to see great results really quickly. In 2023, the AM Assets team introduced a new asset view and one of the big requests that’s now in the product is the ability to go and find smart crop and dynamic media image Presets. They now available in the right hand panel. When you select an asset, make it easy for you to go in quickly, find an asset, seal the renditions, select them and download them as needed all within the simplified UI. Editing video content has never been easier. Now being able to select video content that’s already residing in the dam. Selecting this and editing it. Using the power of Adobe Express. Quick actions. Be able to select the video, trim it, crop the video resize. Convert into different formats. Really allows you to do more with video fast in a very intuitive and easy to use manner. Of course, Adobe continues to innovate at the Cloud Service Foundation level. So let’s have a look at some of the new enhancements. These new enhancements include new capability to optimize and tune the CD and service provided is a cloud service being allow you to self-service, configure some of the maintenance hours, such as version purging and audit log purging, allowing you to stream the log files to vendors beyond Splunk with a new dedicated IP support the self-service to configure additional key and support for AACI and also via SDI. And finally, improving the Java logging experience for rapid developer environments.
