Hello everyone and welcome to the September 2023 release overview for Adobe Experience Manager. I’ll start with a quick overview of our three key pillars to deliver personalization at scale with Adobe Experience Manager. First is high impact experiences, where we create data-driven experiences that are meaningful across each step of the customer journey and touchpoint. Second is extreme content velocity, where we democratize content and empower everyone to create content at scale. And last is rapid development, to enable our customers to build faster and deliver faster connected experiences everywhere. Here’s a quick overview of the features and innovation in this release that we’ll walk through today. First up are our innovations this month that fall under our content velocity pillar and are focused on Experience Manager assets. So let’s jump in. Our first innovation coming out in this release is the Experience Manager assets add-on to Adobe Express. This integration enables users to quickly access brand approved assets without having to go to another tool for downstream editing and delivery. With Express, users can leverage the templates, fonts and even use Adobe Firefly to generate more content with ease while ensuring governance and compliance with brand standards. Then users can also save content back to the DAMP as another version or as a new asset. Next up, we have our Asset Selector SDK that enables organizations to easily integrate the DAMP with any Adobe or non-Adobe application, so users can access and use assets directly in whatever application they’re working in. This integration is easy and supports the new user experience and assets, so you can create assets once and use them everywhere. Next, I’ll pass it over to Peter to walk through the latest cloud service innovations. My name is Peter and I will take us through the cloud service foundation updates this month. Our first cloud foundation update brings useful efficiencies to one of our most utilized migration tools, the Content Transfer Tool, or CTT. The latest version of CTT, 3.0, allows teams to migrate content more quickly and robustly. The copy operation has been optimized so that when transferring a content repository subset, only the required data is referenced. These updates significantly reduce copy operation time. In one example, migrating a 1.2TB subset of a 22TB repository took just approximately two hours, representing a 96% decrease in transfer time. The latest CTT also includes improved robustness. The content ingestion and content indexing processes have been decoupled, protecting against errors requiring both operations to be repeated. In the event of a failed indexing, indexing is automatically rerun, saving significant time and effort. This update will be of particular interest to customers and partners involved in an active migration or who are looking to migrate additional sites to AEM. Content Transfer Tool 3.0 can be downloaded today on the Adobe Software Distribution Portal under AEM as a Cloud Service Downloads. Our second Cloud Foundation update this month delivers added control over deployments with self-service pipeline cancellation in Cloud Manager. This update brings the ability to cancel a pipeline in the validation or build image phase. For those looking to make additional changes to the deployment, this functionality brings added flexibility and the potential for time and effort savings. Guardrails are in place to ensure that pipelines can be cancelled safely and do not impact current or future deployments.
