Acrobat Sign makes it easier than ever for senders to create a mobile-friendly view of the document. It works by automatically recognizing form fields in the PDF and creating a simplified view with the click of a button.
You will see this button in the authoring page appear as a mobile device icon in the upper right corner of the screen. You may have an existing template with form fields placed that you can enable the mobile view on, or you may upload a new document like this one with or without text tags. Whenever fields are detected on the PDF and the mobile view option is activated by the sender, it will automatically generate the mobile view version in a context panel on the right hand side of the screen. You will see that all the fields defined in the PDF view are listed, including a section title, and each field appears with the field’s name listed as the default label.
As you move your cursor over the mobile view panel, there are options to edit or delete the section title. You have options to edit field labels. You can add new section titles.
And a colored vertical bar to the left allows you to drag the field to another location. Use the mobile view panel options to make sure the field labels are descriptive and arranged in a logical order, which will result in a higher likelihood of completion. Once you have configured sections and fields in the mobile form, you can select preview to check the recipient’s experience.
You can preview the mobile form as many times as you like before sending the agreement out for action. Mobile Focus works not only with individual documents, but also with templates. Senders can use existing templates or create new ones to quickly roll out consistent mobile optimized forms. When creating or editing a library template, you will see that the mobile device icon is available in the template’s authoring page to enhance the recipient’s experience whenever the template is used.
