Wrangling PDF comments with Summarize
In this 60-second video tutorial, learn how to create a summary of all the comments and mark-ups in your PDF file.
Transcript
Here I have a PDF open in Acrobat that contains lots of comments from a variety of reviewers. It’s my job to sort through all these comments and make the requested changes to the original document. Did you know that besides this helpful comments pane that appears when I select the comment tool, Acrobat also has a comment summary feature? This handy feature generates an easy to view summary of all the comments in the document, matched up with sequence numbers, as comments only, or with connector lines that point to where each comment occurs. I’ll increase the font size and tell it not to display pages without comments. Acrobat generates this really useful, clear summary of all the comments in the file. I can save this as a separate PDF for easy recall later, or print it if that makes it easier for me to incorporate each change in the original document. And that was 60 Second Acrobat.
